Although I grew up in Ottawa I moved to Boston, Massachusetts after high school to pursue higher education.  With in the US, I completed 2 undergraduate degrees and a Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education and then spent 10 years teaching.  I was eventually out of VISA options to live in the US so moved back to Ottawa after 14 years between Boston and Toledo, Ohio.  

 

Once back in Canada, I began working at Filosofi while I was waiting for my teaching certification to be processed.  After a few months at Filosofi I began working full time and took over managing the company.  I enjoyed my time so much that I opted not to return to teaching.   Now, 12 years later, I am still managing Filosofi which includes all of our hiring and staffing, marketing and media and everything else in between.
